Richmond Recycling Depot

I'm always pleased with the way I am treated when I go to the Richmond recycling depot. I love going here because it is very well organized and every sign is clearly marked as to where you should be recycling your products. I continue to come to this Recycling Depot to recycle all of my items and it is quick and the staff are extremely helpful courteous and respectful. Thank you.

Is it possible to rate a recycling depot? As a city service and overall service, yes, and 5+ stars! I have seen others comment on the positive attitude of the staff. They are all very friendly, they will offer and give help with questions, advice, unloading, and even advise where to go when they do not take something. Every time I have come here in the last 14 years, they have been consistent in that. I can honestly say that I would recommend some store/restaurant staff that we have met with uninterested behaviour could learn something from the people who work here. This depot had an overhaul recently making it more tidy and efficient. They used to be closed Mondays but now they are 7 days a week. Clear signage everywhere. I do not remember them taking lightbulbs and batteries before, so used to drop them off at the hardware store close by, but I will bring them here from now on. Sometimes if I have small stuff, I park outside and bring it in. You can also get replacement blue bins and yellow bags here, but the green bins you need to order online. Daniel

Convenient located near no.2 rd and Westminster hwy. Plus you can pick up recycling blue bin if yours is broken or missing.
